Fines can be paid in person at a Broward County library or online with any major credit card by logging into My Account. There is a $2 transaction fee for each online payment.
Overdue fines*:
Books, Music CDs, Books-On-Tape- $0.25 per day; maximum fine $10.00
Videos, DVDs, CD-Roms, Video Games- $1.00 per day; maximum fine $10.00
Charges for lost or damaged materials:
Add an additional $10.00 processing fee for each lost or damaged item
Replacement fee
If lost item is found within 60 days, it may be returned with the original numbered receipt for a refund minus any overdue fees
Customers with $10 or more in fines are automatically blocked from borrowing materials until the fines are paid.
