  • Library Items: $0.10 per day

Charges for lost materials (items are given a lost status 21 days after last due date): 


Add an additional $6.00 processing fee for each lost item

Failure to pay charges will affect registration, graduation, and/or obtaining transcripts. 


The library reserves the right to assess the condition of all returned library materials. Damage fees may vary, depending on the extent of damage, up to the full cost of the item.  


North Regional/ BC Library and South Regional/ BC Library 


Fines can be paid in person at a Broward County library or online with any major credit card by logging into My Account. There is a $2 transaction fee for each online payment.


Overdue fines*: 


  • Books, Music CDs, Books-On-Tape- $0.25 per day; maximum fine $10.00 
  • Videos, DVDs, CD-Roms, Video Games- $1.00 per day; maximum fine $10.00 

Charges for lost or damaged materials: 


Add an additional $10.00 processing fee for each lost or damaged item 

  • Replacement fee 
  • If lost item is found within 60 days, it may be returned with the original numbered receipt for a refund minus any overdue fees 

Customers with $10 or more in fines are automatically blocked from borrowing materials until the fines are paid.
