EZproxy is server software that provides authentication to licensed library resources like articles and streaming videos. The library's links automatically include EZproxy. Once you enter your ID and password you can read the article or play the video.

But say you find an article on the web that you want to read. The link works and you can read the abstract. When you try to read the PDF or full text, though, it asks you for payment. Here's an example:

Since we license Sage journals, if you put this link on the end of our proxy prefix you will be able to access the full text of the article using your UCL login.
